The Seattle area festival pulled the plug after 'key artist cancellations.'
Gorge Amphitheatre May 25, 2019, Saturday @ 12:00pm See All End of the Rainbow Festival Events No Service Fees.
End of the Rainbow, the Seattle-area festival created by Live Nation as a replacement for the longrunning Sasquatch Festival, has been cancelled.
First reported by Consequence of Sound, the demise of End of the Rainbow at Washington's famous Gorge Amphitheatre comes two months before the May 24-26 festival was slated to take place.
Bassnectar was to headline two sets at the EDM and hip-hop heavy event, which also featured artists Lil Uzi Vert, Young Thug, STS9, Gogol Bordello and Vic Mensa. On Friday, Ticketmaster sent out an email to ticketholders announcing the festival had been postponed to an 'undetermined date' and that refunds would be issued to fans who bought tickets.
'End of the Rainbow was built on a desire to create a special event for all attendees at The Gorge,' a letter from Ticketsmaster reads. 'Due to unforseen complicatons and key artist cancellations, we have been force to reschedule.'
It's unclear which artist cancelled their appearance at End of the Rainbow, which was the replacement for the long-running Sasquatch Festival following last year's departure of founder Adam Zacks, who first launched Sasquatch in 2002.
'The Festival began 17 years ago on a hunch, greenlit on nothing more than a name and instinct there was space for something with a uniquely Northwest flavor, on Memorial Day weekend, at one of the most beautiful locations on Earth – The Gorge,' Zacks wrote in his goodbye letter a month after the 2018 Sasquatch Festival came to a close.

Fans who bought tickets to End of the Rainbow will have their credit cards automatically refunded sometime this week. As of Monday, the Twitter and Facebook accounts for the festival had been deleted and the events website was taken down.
